Wellsite Drilling Supervisor

LanceSoft is seeking an experienced Wellsite Drilling Supervisor for a client opportunity in Dubai. The role involves overseeing drilling operations, reviewing drilling programmes, ensuring pressure-testing procedures are completed and coordinating wellsite activities in line with operational and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Review drilling programmes and ensure all clarifications, corrections and errors are addressed before operations begin.

Evaluate drilling and flow parameters using multiphase flow modelling or equivalent methods.

Coordinate kill mud properties with the Client DSV and CTD Driller.

Review operational and contingency procedures, incorporating lessons learned.

Execute pressure-testing procedures for vessels, valves and pipework.

Manage slack procedures and update coiled tubing job files and models.

Implement Emergency Shutdown (ESD) function testing and power shutdown tests.

Determine optimum nitrogen pump rates while following safety guidelines and considering onsite inventory.

Maintain accurate job documentation and ensure valves are in the correct deployment start-up position.
