IT & Security Systems Project Manager

An experienced IT & Security Systems Project Manager is required for a major international finance summit in Abu Dhabi, expected to host up to 10,000 delegates per day. The successful candidate will manage specialist contractors on behalf of the client throughout design, installation, commissioning, live event operations and de-rig.

Key Responsibilities

Manage IT network infrastructure, CCTV and cybersecurity contractors against project scope, schedules and Bills of Quantities (BOQs).

Review and approve technical designs, including network architecture, camera coverage, cabling routes, storage capacity and redundancy.

Coordinate with event security, police control-room teams, access control, power, venue infrastructure and the main control room.

Oversee testing and commissioning, ensuring systems meet requirements before approving go-live readiness.

Monitor contractor health, safety and environmental compliance, including RAMS approvals, working-at-height procedures and electrical safety.

Support live event operations, followed by dismantling, decommissioning and handover documentation.

Key Requirements

5+ years of project management experience in IT networks, CCTV/security systems or ICT projects.

Experience managing technical contractors and reviewing technical submissions.

Strong working knowledge of network infrastructure, IP CCTV systems and cybersecurity best practices.

Experience with large temporary events, venues or major projects in the UAE is preferred.

Must be based in Abu Dhabi and available to start on 26 October 2026.

Must be authorised to work in the UAE and available throughout the contract until 10 December 2026.
