Senior Cloud Security Engineer

A leading UAE bank is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer for a six-month contract in Dubai. The successful candidate will design and implement security controls across cloud infrastructure, applications, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure and/or AWS. Responsibilities include managing identity and access controls, securing Kubernetes and container platforms, implementing DevSecOps practices, and overseeing encryption and vulnerability management. The role also involves integrating cloud logs with SIEM/SOC platforms, supporting incident response, conducting threat modelling, and ensuring compliance with CBUAE regulations, UAE data residency requirements, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS. Candidates should have 8+ years of IT or information security experience, including at least 4 years in cloud security or DevSecOps, preferably within banking or financial services.
