Tableau Developer

HTC Global Services is seeking an experienced Tableau Developer to join its Data Engineering team. The role involves developing high-quality dashboards, analysing large datasets, optimising performance, and translating business requirements into actionable data visualisations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards.

Perform data analytics and generate business insights using Tableau and advanced SQL.

Optimise workbook performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Investigate production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and Product Owners to define requirements and technical designs.

Prepare effort estimates, delivery plans, and test cases.

Validate dashboards with stakeholders and incorporate feedback through iterative reviews.

Key Requirements

5–8 years of experience in Tableau development, BI, and data analytics.

Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server; version 2023.1 experience is preferred.

Advanced SQL skills and experience handling large datasets.

Strong knowledge of RDBMS, data modelling, and database normalisation.

Understanding of advanced calculations, statistical functions, Tableau administration, and architecture.

Experience in dashboard testing, data quality assurance, and performance optimisation.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
