Head of MSI

A leading multinational organisation in Dubai is seeking an experienced Head of Master System Integration (MSI) to establish and lead the MSI function across major aviation transformation programmes. The role focuses on ensuring aviation systems are integrated, interoperable, resilient, and operationally ready.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Technology Architecture, or a related discipline.

10–12 years of overall experience, including 7–10 years of relevant experience.

Industry experience in aviation, transportation, critical infrastructure, technology, or other complex operational environments.

Expertise in MSI capability establishment, integration governance, operating model development, and integration assurance.

Strong knowledge of systems engineering, integration architecture, interface management, and requirements traceability.

Experience in vendor evaluation, supplier governance, risk management, and programme controls.

Excellent executive stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and lead the MSI strategy, operating model, governance framework, and implementation roadmap.

Define integration architecture principles, standards, interfaces, and assurance controls.

Oversee vendor tendering, technical evaluation, mobilisation, and performance.

Lead integration assurance, end-to-end testing, commissioning, and operational readiness.

Manage integration risks, technical gaps, interface conflicts, and cross-system dependencies.

Coordinate with programme teams, consultants, vendors, and senior stakeholders.

Monitor integration performance, report risks and issues, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
