Environmental Health and Safety Manager

An experienced QHSE leader is required to develop and implement an integrated Quality, Health, Safety and Environment strategy across Civil, MEP, Power, and Facilities Management operations. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, operational risk management, safety culture, quality assurance, and environmental sustainability across multiple divisions and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the organization's QHSE strategy across business units and project sites.

Lead QHSE teams and promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.

Oversee risk assessments, HAZID/HAZOP processes, incident investigations, and corrective actions.

Monitor QHSE KPIs, audits, quality controls, and environmental performance.

Standardize safety procedures, permit systems, and safe working practices across projects.

Lead QHSE training, behavioral safety initiatives, and employee engagement programs.

Drive environmental protection, waste management, sustainability initiatives, and ESG reporting.

Coordinate with clients, regulators, consultants, and auditors, and support tender compliance.

Key Requirements

15+ years of QHSE experience in construction and infrastructure.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.

Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or ISO Lead Auditor qualifications.

Proven leadership experience across Civil, MEP, Power, and Facilities Management divisions.

Strong understanding of UAE regulations and international QHSE standards.

Excellent risk management, incident investigation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Willingness to travel across project sites and work in a fast-paced environment.
