Project Manager – ERP Implementation (Finance Specialist)

A leading German multinational corporation is seeking a hands-on ERP Project Manager to lead its upcoming Odoo ERP implementation. This opportunity is specifically suited to a finance professional who has transitioned into ERP project management and combines strong accounting expertise with proven experience delivering end-to-end ERP implementations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Odoo ERP implementation lifecycle from the internal business perspective.

Manage the external Odoo vendor, including project timelines, deliverables, and system configurations.

Map, review, and optimize financial workflows covering General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), budgeting, and reporting.

Align business requirements with ERP capabilities and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

Manage change initiatives, user expectations, and implementation milestones.

Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for finance and accounting modules.

Validate data migration accuracy and resolve financial workflow gaps.

Ensure the ERP implementation is delivered on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

Must have started a career in core finance, such as Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Finance Manager, before transitioning into ERP project management.

Proven experience managing at least one complete end-to-end ERP implementation.

Strong hands-on knowledge of accounting principles, financial workflows, and ERP systems.

Odoo implementation experience is highly preferred; SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics experience is also acceptable.

Previous experience in a European or global multinational corporation is an advantage.

Excellent English communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination skills.

Must be based in the UAE and available to join immediately or within one week.
