Junior Internal Auditor

A prestigious UAE-based conglomerate with over 40 years of business experience is expanding its Internal Audit team. The organization is seeking Senior and Junior Internal Auditors with strong expertise in risk assessment, internal controls, compliance, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Execute internal audit projects in line with the annual audit plan.

Conduct risk-based audits, from planning through final reporting.

Develop risk and control matrices, sampling memos, and audit programs.

Identify internal control gaps and recommend improvements.

Prepare audit reports and monitor the implementation of recommendations.

Coordinate stakeholder meetings, including kick-off, status updates, and exit discussions.

Conduct stock counts across UAE locations.

Support presentations for the Board Audit Committee.

Perform special reviews, compliance checks, and consultancy assignments.

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements

Senior Internal Auditor

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in internal audit or internal control advisory.

Junior Internal Auditor

1–3 years of experience in internal audit or a related field.

Requirements for Both Roles

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Previous experience with a Big Four accounting firm is mandatory.

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred; CIA or CISA certifications are an advantage.

Strong knowledge of risk assessment, internal controls, and audit planning.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.

Fluent English communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
